Mellifluous Brass is a versatile brass ensemble that performs live classical music throughout the south of the England. The ensemble was formed in Autumn 2007 from members of the University of Southampton Music Department. Having originally started off performing as a quintet, the ensemble now performs as a quartet comprising of trumpets, trombone and euphonium.

Mellifluous Brass has performed in several distinguished venues such as Turner Sims Concert Hall, as well as performing fanfare and processional music for the 2008 Southampton University summer graduation ceremonies in the Nuffield Theatre. More recent engagements include background music for Southampton Foster Care Association's annual dinner at St. Mary's Football Stadium, a Southampton Primary School winter fete, and an evening concert at a church in New Milton, Hampshire.
